Junior MLeague has been an incredibly successful initiative this year. In partnership with @netballvictoria, the League aims to provide a pathway allowing more opportunities for boys to continue their development in a competitive environment while introducing more boys to this game we all love. . Hear from players, Brodie Reeves and Connor Lilly from Darebin Netball Association, Jacqui Spencer, mother of Quinn Spencer from @wdnanetball and coach of Doncaster & Districts Netball Association, Dale Ferris. The inaugural season features four foundation clubs: DDNA, WDNA, Darebin and @sttheresespnetballclub, with the hope that more clubs will be involved in later seasons. . We so often hear of the glory of sport: the MVPs, euphoric wins and national titles. But we often don’t hear about the other side of sport: the hardships, heartbreaking losses and painful injuries 💔🏥🌧👎🏻 . We’re taking a look at the latter as we highlight one of the most common and devastating injuries in netball - a complete ACL rupture. Did you know about the Specialist Boys Netball Clinics being run over the upcoming school holidays? . Happening in Macleod and Frankston and coordinated via @inspiresportsgroup2011, these Specialist Boys Clinics are jam-packed with everything a young, emerging netballer would need to develop and finesse their game. . From attacking and defensive drills, ball handling, footwork activities and of course plenty of match play, these clinics have it all. . Targeted at players aged 12-17 years, these clinics are a great way for boys to improve their netball skills in a fun, safe environment. Registrations are still open, so get in touch with Inspire for further details!
