With MLeague now done and dusted for another year, a huge thanks to our hosts: @melbournesportscentres!
The 2019 season marked the 10th year that the State Netball & Hockey Centre has been the home of MLeague, and as the undisputed home of elite netball in Victoria, we are very fortunate to play here each year.
We look forward to their current $64.6 million redevelopment, that will see six new indoor netball courts (bringing it to 11 overall), a new indoor hockey facility, a high-performance strength and conditioning gym and a home for Netball Victoria and Hockey Victoria - all set to be completed in early 2021.
You may not know, but along with SNHC, Melbourne Sports Centres also manage Lakeside Stadium and Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre (MSAC). Be sure to be following their socials for all the latest on all three premier sporting venues.

Last year VMMNA launched the Community Fund: an initiative to assist those participants who are experiencing hardship which may impact their ability to take part in the National Championships.
This week we were excited to unveil the Fund's new logo along with both the call for applicants and patrons.
APPLICANTS:
Any participant (player, coach, manager or umpire) can apply for a grant to offset costs associated with participation in the Championships. An independent sub-committee then assesses applications and makes recommendations on allocation of grants in line with needs of the individual and funds available. Applicants (either for themselves or on behalf of someone you may know) are welcome to send just their contact details ONLY through to CommunityFund@VMMNA.org and a member of the sub-committee will be in touch to discuss this further.
PATRONS:
Meanwhile, patrons are those who wish to support the fund financially and they are recognised (at their discretion) both on the page below and via our social channels. Our first three patrons are: Rob Farrimond, Grant Crocker and Kylie Pearce. To express interest in becoming a patron, we ask that you reach out via the above email address.
This is a fantastic initiative for our community and one VMMNA is proud to have established.

We are very excited to announce our Fast‘N’Furious Netball Championships happening on February 23rd, 2020 at the Hoppers Crossing Netball Association (Heaths Rd, Hoppers Crossing).

This is junior tournament with standard netball but shortened matches (2x7minute halves) to be played across 5 divisions:
