The premier Men’s and Mixed netball competition returns in 2018.

Now in its 13th year, MLeague is an opportunity for some of the most talented male and female netballers in Australia along with the brightest emerging talent in the state, to come together and compete on a weekly basis.

Commencing on Wednesday September 5th at the State Netball and Hockey Centre in Parkville, MLeague is split over four divisions: Premier Mens, Premier Mixed, Division One Men’s, and Division One Mixed.

Team applications are now open for all four divisions. To submit your application, complete the team entry form below and return by Friday, July 27th. Early entries are recommended as team positions are limited.

If you are an individual looking to join a team, a Facebook group has been set up for you to leave your details and connect with teams looking for players. The group can be found here: Individual Player Facebook Group

Also take note of the Rules and Regulations along with the new Player Points allocations – this has changed since 2017 and teams will need to make themselves aware of this.

Premier Mixed Max of 2 x 5 point players permitted on Court
Division 1 Men’s No 5 point players permitted

M League 2013 Fixtures

We have received all the registrations, we’ve crunched the numbers, created the fixtures, booked the courts and now we are ready to kick off the MLegaue 2013 season starting Wednesday August 7th!  (Mixed will start August 14th due to limited court availability)
For the first time, this year we will be awarding season MVP’s as voted by the umpires at the end of each game.

Men’s

There are a total of 11 teams competing in the 2013 MLeague season! This year we will be running 1 division for the minor rounds and then separating the divisions for finals.

You will notice that there is now a BYE each week due to 11 teams.  The new team Northern Bullets will have the BYE the first week.
2 teams will have 2 BYES during the minor rounds and they will both receive 4 points for their second BYE to make things as fair as possible.

Due to limited court availability on Wednesday August 21st there will be no MENS games.

Mixed

There are a total of 11 mixed teams competing in 2013 MLeague season. This year we will be running one mixed division for the minor rounds and then separating to Premier and Division 1 for finals.

You will note that a couple of teams have 2 BYES during the round phase. These teams will be allocated points for a win for their second BYE. This is the fairest way to handle things.
