Rounding out our 'Road to Nationals' series are our three Men’s teams.
Co-captains Will Jamison and Andrew Simons are both hungry for Vic Open's title #17 and the first since 2016. Both talk about the preparation leading into this year’s @australianmensnetball Championships, including a team camp in Blairgowrie and multiple trainings each week, involving both High Performance and Strength & Conditioning. This, coupled with the versatility that exists in the team, should bode very well come the pointy end of next week.
There is a culture of success within the Victorian Reserves as Vic has won 19 of the last 23 Championships. Poni Smith talks us through the last 6months of training and how the team wants to continue that success as they vy for a six-peat, while also playing solid, consistent netball that they can be proud of.
Finally, it’s a testament to Victoria’s depth that it can field two teams in the Reserves grade (which also featured an all Victorian Grand Final in 2016), as Brent Pace talks us through what his team has focussed on going into next week and how they hope to be in the thick of it come finals time.

Nationals ain't no friendly!
But the 2019 @australianmensnetball Championships *is* in our hometown, and as such, even easier to have a huge Victorian contingent supporting our 10 teams.
With Sunday trainings now coming to an end, all 10 teams will be involved in our annual Round Robin tournament and AGM this Sunday from 8:30am at Casey Stadium - all are welcome to show their support prior to the squad's Nationals campaign.
If you can't make it to the Round Robin, be sure to get down to Casey Stadium in Cranbourne from April 21-27 to see 42 teams comprising the best Men's and Mixed netballers in the country and the world! 🏆🌏💙
